Here's an edited version of the review: I signed up for my first customised bracelet-making workshop at Gemstory with my colleagues. It was such a refreshing experience that exceeded my expectations. Glenn, the founder, guided us through a process of choosing the gems and explaining the different chakras and the energy we prioritize. I never knew there could be so much satisfaction mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Not to mention, the ambience was really relaxing. Glenn’s passion and knowledge are what differentiate Gemstory, its products, and workshops from other businesses. He goes beyond the physical aspect of gem making and is also a champion and advocate for wellness (Gemstory also offers wellness classes and is part of a social cause, reforestation — how cool is that!). I'm still wearing my customised bracelet to this day because I love it. 😍 Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun and meaningful activity with family and friends!

Great detailed workshop. Glenn the shop owner is very patient in explaining the purpose of each crystal. Highly recommended for those looking for authentic and unique crystals. :)

Love everything about this shop! I bought rings, a crystal display, and my customized bracelet. You just need to tell them what kind of “energy” you are looking for. They will explain to you how to choose the crystals. Very cozy space with an awesome boss and staff. Highly recommended!

I am totally in love with the vibe of this crystal shop! As a person who is easily overwhelmed by crystal energies, I find the atmosphere in Gemstory really calming and pleasant. The owner, Glenn, is also such a heartwarming and spiritual person who is open to sharing a lot of information with us. He can also sense your energy and recommend crystals that would help you heal. When I visit crystal shops, I always look for an experience, and I am definitely happy with my visit. Thanks Glenn, see you around!

Here's the edited review: Visited the shop for a corporate event in the evening. The place is located in a central area, so it's quite accessible. The shop is well organised, offering a wide variety of gemstones. The trainer/instructor is knowledgeable and well-versed in gemstones, providing much useful information and insights about them. Definitely an interesting shop with interactive events that are worth trying and visiting!

So much to learn about the philosophy of life. Had a fun time doing the Tree of Life activity. Awesome sharing from the founder, Glenn, and thanks to artist Pauline for the guidance. Indeed, every individual piece of art needs our focus and attention, just like we need to give time to ourselves to connect with nature and the universe. Got to know a new friend too. Too bad there wasn't much time to chit-chat because the two mummies were rushing home.

Spoke with who I assume is the owner and learned that Gemstory has been in SG for around 10 years, which explained the 10-year promotion when I was there. They have a good variety of crystals, both raw and polished, as well as small tumbled stones. They also sell essential oils and conduct various classes, including bracelet making for families and sessions to help one ground back to the energies of nature. They will help cleanse and tune any purchased crystals, and it feels particularly positive to meditate with crystals purchased from them.

Went with my team (with members flying in from around the world), and the experience was amazing! Thanks Glenn for the detailed experience, answering the many questions we had (from varying levels of spiritual understanding). All of us have nothing but positive feedback for the session! It was also a great bonding session and a good time for us to understand our current state of wellness in a very easy-to-understand way! Would love to visit again with my friends next time!

It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to GemStory at Bras Basah, a sanctuary of tranquillity, beauty, and positive energy. This beloved space, which has touched the lives of so many, including my family and friends, will sadly be closing its retail operations. For years, GemStory has been more than just a store. It has been a place of inspiration, a haven where one could immerse in the mesmerising world of crystals, each piece carrying its own story and energy. Every visit was an experience, a moment of quiet joy, reflection, and discovery. It is difficult to imagine Bras Basah without it, as the store has woven itself into the fabric of our cherished memories. While this chapter comes to a close, we find comfort in knowing that GemStory’s journey continues through its Wellness and Mindfulness Workshops at Aperia. The essence of what makes GemStory special—its commitment to healing, self-discovery, and well-being—lives on. We are grateful that Glenn and the team will carry forward this mission, bringing light and positivity to even more people in new ways.
