Terrible service. We came in at 9:25 PM, were greeted and asked to scan the QR code to order quickly. We then politely asked what would happen if we couldn't finish by 10 PM (their listed closing time). The staff rudely snapped back, “Then you eat faster la.” Extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming. Won’t be coming back. Very disappointed with the service. The staff were extremely impolite and unprofessional from the moment we arrived. No basic courtesy or respect was shown to customers. Definitely not the kind of experience you'd expect when dining out. Won’t be returning, and wouldn’t recommend this shop for dining.

Here's the edited review: Quite ordinary, not particularly delicious Thai food. Service was bad. It was so difficult to get the attention of staff. They were brusque and unfriendly, not helpful or approachable. The seats were very uncomfortable, and the decor looked more like a canteen than a restaurant, which did not justify the prices. The grilled pork tongue was very disappointing, hard like gizzard. The Tom yam soup had no herby flavour; herbs were just thrown in, not even smashed to exude. The acacia omelette was very oily, though the best of the three.

The food is pretty standard with an average price. I ordered the Tom Yum Fried Rice with Beef and Thai Milk Tea. The fried rice itself was quite fragrant and nice, but the beef was a bit tough and chewy. Its quality could also be better. The Thai Milk Tea was too sweet. I definitely recommend asking them to make it less sweet if you plan on coming here. Aside from that, the place is pretty nice, and you can order through the QR code on every table.

When Golden Mile was closed, it left a big hole in our hearts and stomachs that could only be filled with Thai food. So glad to have tried @imthai_kitchen at Aperia Mall that did more than fill that hole. The food was so spicy, yet you can stomach it. The grilled pork was tender and not dried up. Prawns served were huge too! While the portions are on the smaller side, it was definitely a good place to eat and enjoy with an intimate group of friends.

If you're craving authentic Thai flavors with a comfortable, no-fuss vibe, Im-Em Thai Kitchen is definitely worth checking out. After making the move from Golden Mile to Aperia Mall, this place has earned its loyal following, and it's easy to see why—just look at the bustling dinner crowd on a weekday! There’s a super worth-it promo for November - if you spend $50, you can get 50% off fish dishes such as Steam Fish with Lime Soup, Fried Fish in Spicy Herb Salad and Spicy and Sour Vegetables with Seabass Soup. A few highlights from my visit: 🌟Deep Fried Papaya with Somtum Sauce Highly recommend this dish to whet your appetite—crunchy, tangy, and totally addictive! 🌟Crabmeat Omelette Topped with a good amount of crabmeat, the omelette was fluffy and savory with a crisp exterior. 🦐Tom Yum Seafood Bold and aromatic with just the right amount of kick. 🦐Claypot Prawn Vermicelli A comforting, flavor-packed dish with perfectly cooked prawns. 🐟Steam Fish with Lime Fresh and zesty with just the right balance of sour and spicy. 🥭Mango Sticky Rice I really liked how fresh, fragrant, and nicely textured the sticky rice was, paired with perfectly ripe mango. While the dishes here are tailored slightly to local tastes (so expect a milder version), you can always turn up the heat/flavor by asking for the “Thai version” if you want the full-on authentic Thai experience. I love that they are happy to accommodate such requests. The service is efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed, making it a great spot to enjoy tasty Thai food. And the best part is that the prices are reasonable, so you can get your Thai food fix without breaking the bank! I can't wait to return and try more dishes—definitely a hidden gem for Thai food lovers in the area!

The food was great. I’ve been eating at this shop since it was located at Golden Mile. The papaya salad with fermented fish is the best. The kang om nuea also has an authentic taste of Thailand’s northern region. Highly recommended!

The Crabmeat Fried Rice was a standout, with a generous portion of crab meat and, refreshingly, no peas – a welcome change from the usual Singaporean fried rice. The Pad Thai, while not spicy, was still enjoyable. It's a good option for those who prefer milder flavors. However, the star of the show was undoubtedly the Grilled Pork Neck. The spicy dipping sauce elevated the dish to new heights. The only downside to the dining experience was the lack of complimentary water.

Grilled pork neck is very delicious. Papaya salad is flavourful. Yum Woon Sen tasted average, not sour enough and too spicy, even though we requested less spicy. Stir-fried Century Egg with Basil Pork is fantastic. Spicy and sour fish and vegetable soup tasted okay. Overall, it was good.

Yes, the food is good and the ingredients are fresh. This is our second visit, and today we ordered the Yentafo Tomyum Seafood. When the dish was served, we were shocked by the color of the soup—and even noticed the server trying to hold back a laugh. Soon after, a lady came over and repeatedly told us, “This is not tomyum, this is yong tau fu!” Yes, we know it’s yong tau fu—but the menu clearly says tomyum, too. Despite that, she kept insisting it wasn’t tomyum. We may not be experts in Thai cuisine, but we do know what tomyum is. So now we’re wondering—was the menu meant to confuse people like us? Or is this really the actual name of the dish?

The overall dining experience is good. The restaurant is kid-friendly. The Thai food served is above average and authentic Thai cuisine, customized to local Singaporean tastebuds. Expect to pay around $40 per person, on average.
