Update on my Initial Review: Hinomi sent a technician within a week of my review to rectify the issue. Although the issue was not rectified by the first visit, Hinomi followed up on their commitment to resolve the issues, and all issues were finally rectified. I must give credit where it's due: Hinomi's service recovery is definitely good, and I must commend their technician Richard for his patience and expertise in resolving the issues. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bought a H2 Pro from Shoppee. Initially, there was a picture advertising free installation. When the delivery driver came, I was informed that there was no free installation. After checking with Hinomi, they claimed that the promotion was not available when I bought the chair. Nevertheless, Hinomi offered a partial refund of the S$20 I had to pay the delivery driver for installation. The real issue is that after the chair was delivered, it was faulty. The right armrest is not level with the left armrest even though both were adjusted to the same height. Upon contacting Hinomi, they said they would get back to me after checking with their technical team. It has been 2 days, and I have been completely ignored by Hinomi via WhatsApp, their online contact form, email, and Shoppee. Extremely unreliable and dishonest seller. Bought a faulty chair, and their best response is no response.

I’m very disappointed with the quality of the new H2 Pro chair I purchased just two months ago. Within this short period, I’ve already encountered issues. Additionally, the support experience has been underwhelming. Responses are delayed, often citing a high volume of queries on their WA support channel. These were the issues I encountered with the H2 Pro chair in just under two months: 1) The branding on the backplate began peeling off on the day of delivery. Hinomi addressed the issue by sending a replacement backplate with the branding intact, although it did have some scratches. That said, I was okay with it since the main issue was resolved. 2) A week later, the left rear button cover for the backrest came off on its own. When I contacted Hinomi, they explained that it was designed that way for easier access and advised me to gently push it back into place. However, despite multiple attempts, the cover doesn’t stay in and keeps falling off. That said, it doesn’t impact the chair’s usability, so I’ve decided to leave it off for now. 3) Just over a month later (yesterday), the right rear button cover for the backrest came off as well. I heard something drop while using the chair, and upon checking, I realized it was the button cover on the other side (rear right) that had fallen off this time. 4) On the same day the right rear button cover fell off, I noticed a protruding metal rod, which I believe is part of the mechanism that secures the backrest to the chair's frame. I tried to push it back into place manually, but it wouldn’t budge. With all these issues arising within just two months, I felt I had no choice but to reach out again, beginning to suspect that I may have received a defective or older unit. Despite reaching out via email and following up through their website, I only received a response from WA support a day later, after I nudged them. They informed me that the replacement button covers had been ordered and would be sent to me. At the same time, they suggested using a rubber mallet to knock the protruding metal rod back into place. Honestly, that response felt inadequate. It's clear the problem goes beyond just the button cover and knocking the metal rod back in. Do I really need to do this from time to time, knocking that metal rod back into place for a premium chair? My main concern now is that the chair was marketed as a 'premium' product built to last for years, even offering over 10 years of warranty on parts. Yet within just two months of relatively light use, components have already started to come loose or fall off. Given that these are not wear-and-tear issues but rather signs of possible manufacturing defects, I’m left uncertain about how reliably the advertised warranty will actually be honored. I'm disappointed with the quality of the H2 Pro chair I purchased. The support responses have mostly been along the lines of 'just put it back,' 'place it back,' or 'knock it back into place'—which isn’t what I’d expect from a product marketed as premium. Unless my unit is indeed defective or an older batch, as I’ve come to suspect, the overall experience so far certainly doesn't reflect the quality the brand claims to offer. At this point, I’m not sure what more Hinomi can do, but based on my experience so far, I believe there are other chairs on the market with better build quality than the H2 Pro. _______________________________________________________________ This is a follow-up review regarding the initial issues. I reached out to customer support to escalate the matter. In response, a technical team was scheduled to assess the problem onsite. Upon inspection, the technician identified the issue as being related to the backrest mechanism and proceeded to replace the entire backrest component. The replacement process took approximately 10 minutes, during which the technician also provided a clear explanation of the underlying issue. I have updated my rating for now and will continue to monitor the situation to determine whether the replaced backrest resolves the issues.

Upon arrival, I would have given this chair 5 stars. I purchased the Hinomi X1 ergonomic chair for approximately $700 on Shopee. I am reviewing the product after one year of use. The chair is still comfortable, and I love it. However, certain aspects of the chair, which seem to have been overlooked in design or material quality, significantly reduce its overall rating. First, the base of my chair, which holds the wheels, appears to have rust developing or its coating coming off. I will need to find a protective coating to prevent further rust. Second, the base wheels, made of plastic, appear to be melting or degrading. This is happening after just one year of use, which is concerning. Consequently, I frequently have to mop my floor because the chair leaves black stains everywhere. When I touch the wheels, they feel sticky, which is consistent with plastic degradation or melting after only one year. I will now need to find replacement wheels or a protective solution to prevent the degrading material from further staining the floor. At this point, all I can do is try to prolong the life of this chair until I can replace it with a much better and higher-quality one. Honestly, I am quite disappointed with this chair. In comparison, an Ergotune chair I received for free through a bank card promotion is performing much better.

I bought the H2 Pro and have never regretted it. It's super comfy for my petite and heavyweight body type. I bought it in black. At first, there was no stock, but because I liked this chair so much when I went to their showroom and tried it, I was willing to wait. It was only a few days late, and I received the chair less than two weeks after purchasing it. I previously had a Secretlab chair, but it was super stiff, and I got back pain from it. This chair was worth the wait! Thank you so much, Hinomi.

Bought from their Aperia Mall showroom and was impressed by the build quality of the standing table (quietness, speed, metallic button interface, height) and their value. I changed the tabletop from a third-party provider and realized an extension cable for the table motors was missing when I extended the table. They sent me one very quickly after. I also really like their monitor arm and footrest. The process for both the H2 Pro and my table—from buying to arranging delivery and installation, and post-sales—has been one of the best among my other orders, which either missed delivery dates or had bad post-sales service. Highly recommend!
