System Analyst (Banking / Agile / Process Automation) _ Contract

Duration: 12 months contract with NTT Data Singapore (deployed to a leading bank)

Work Location: Alexandra Building, Singapore

2–5 years banking IT / Agile project experience required.

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst (L2) with 2–5 years of experience in system analysis, business analysis, or testing within the banking/financial domain. The role focuses on Change & Process Management, working with agile teams to automate manual processes, streamline governance reporting, and support project delivery.

Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis & Reporting

• Gather, analyze, and document detailed functional specifications from business users and product owners
• Perform impact assessments, effort estimation, and define "to-be" business/operational processes
• Track project deliverables, deadlines, and highlight potential risks or scope changes
• Propose improvements for workflow automation and process efficiency

Collaboration & Agile Support

• Participate in user story grooming, requirement handover, and daily scrum discussions
• Translate requirements into test scenarios and clarify developer queries
• Maintain knowledge base on reporting, release planning, project governance, and compliance

Testing & Defect Management

• Act as defect triage owner – validate test findings, identify data issues, and classify change requests

Project Management Support

• Assist in project tracking (timeline, budget, deliverables)
• Prepare daily/weekly status updates for multiple projects (internal and outsourced)

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in system analysis / business analysis / testing
• 3–4 years of experience in Agile Scrum processes (advantage)
• Familiarity with IT project lifecycle in a banking environment
• Basic product knowledge of Digital Banking and related technologies
• Strong skills in MS Excel & PowerPoint (reporting, dashboards)
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence (advantage)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
