About You

You will be responsible to supervise the installation of Otis elevators, escalators and dumbwaiters for assigned projects from commencement to completion including handover to Service team.

Key Responsibilities

Safety

• Ensure Otis Safety Requirement work compliance (OSS) pertaining to work activities are being adhered to

Quality

• Implement and maintain all ISO 9000 procedures
• Regular check on installation with the reference to Otis’ quality guidelines
• Coordinate with main contractor, other subcontractors and owner for works related to lift/ escalator installation
• Arrange for lift electrical power testing
• Check the installation to be in line with the construction drawing, local regulation compliance, and technical specifications

Supervision of all installation works

• Ascertain the actual location of building and study details of the lifts/lift hoist -ways/escalators
• Liaises with main contractor and client on delivery and storage of equipment and materials
• Ensures the site structural dimensions correspond with the shop drawings
• Conducts regular site inspections on quality and safety issues
• Monitors progress of construction and plan schedule for installation
• Supervise all sub-contractors work at site and ensure sub-contractors fulfil their work scope in a timely manner without defects

People Management

• Supervise and monitor the discipline, morale and performance of subcontractor and installation team

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in related Engineering discipline
• Min. 3 years of relevant experience as an Installation Supervisor
• Prior supervisory experiences to manage a team of installers, testers and subcontractors
• Strong technical knowledge of installation of elevators and escalators products
• Knowledge of ISO procedures
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
