Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Test Manager to lead testing programs in the Compliance Technology and Infrastructure patching domain for a major banking client. The role involves overseeing end-to-end testing delivery, vendor management, governance, and quality assurance across application, OS, and DB patching projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee regular patch testing activities (Database, OS, and Application) in coordination with appointed vendors.

• Review and provide sign-off on test strategies, plans, and deliverables prepared by third-party test service providers.

• Coordinate with the Test Governance team to align with banks testing standards, tools, and methodologies.

• Communicate scope changes and ensure impact assessment is reflected in testing plans.

• Engage cross-functional stakeholders from application, infrastructure, security, and business teams to align testing activities with organizational goals.

• Act as the first point of escalation for any issues raised by stakeholders or test vendors.

• Track and report testing progress, status, SLA adherence, and KPI achievements.

• Drive and coordinate testing delivery plans across assigned portfolios.

• Collaborate with the Test Engineering team to support domain-specific test engineering needs.

• Establish strong relationships with vendor Test Managers/Leads to ensure quality and timely delivery.

• Collect feedback from stakeholders and recommend continuous improvement strategies to the Test CoE.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 12 years of experience in test delivery or similar roles in large, complex financial institutions.

• Strong background in managing end-to-end testing services involving multiple vendors and third-party service providers.

• In-depth understanding of testing frameworks, processes, tools (e.g., HP ALM, Tosca, Selenium, LoadRunner, JIRA), and various delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps).

• Prior experience managing patch testing, compliance technology, and IT infrastructure-related QA initiatives.

• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse, multicultural, and cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders and reporting on testing outcomes.

• Certifications in QA (e.g., ISTQB, PMP) or awareness of TMMi frameworks are preferred.

• Prior experience with compliance/regulatory systems in banking.

• Experience in Test Automation tools and modern test engineering practices.

• Familiarity with cloud or hybrid infrastructure testing environments.
