Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional Cloud & DevOps Expertise to join our high-performance engineering team within the Software Engineering Centre of Excellence. This is a hands-on, innovation-driven engineering role focused on designing, deploying, and managing complex Azure cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, CRDs, Terraform, and advanced observability and automation practices. This role demands a builder’s mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to move fast, fail fast, and iterate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and manage resilient, scalable, and secure Azure infrastructure.

• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters, including development of Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitOps practices.

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Release-on-Demand capabilities.

• Develop Helm charts, Dockerfiles, and YAML configurations for seamless deployments.

• Integrate observability stacks for metrics, logs, and alerts (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

• Build data pipelines to collect infrastructure metadata, support SLA tracking and cost reporting.

• Implement auto-scaling strategies based on custom metrics using Prometheus or scripting.

• Ensure end-to-end cloud security, IAM configuration, and compliance enforcement.

• Own the lifecycle of TST, UAT, PRD environments and drive POCs with speed and clarity.

• Work with stakeholders across development, security, and business teams to drive outcomes.

• Debug complex system issues and provide hands-on resolution in production environments.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

Cloud & DevOps Expertise:

• 5+ years independently managing Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Strong command of Linux (scripting, system tuning, security, CLI).

• Expert in Kubernetes, including:

• Cluster management

• Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs)

• Helm chart development

• Auto-scaling via metrics

• Deep knowledge of Terraform (IaC) and GitOps principles.

• Solid experience with Docker and container orchestration in production.

• Strong grasp of cloud security, IAM, and regulatory compliance standards.

• Proven experience managing observability & alerting stacks (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, Loki).

Software Engineering & Automation:

• 5+ years backend development in Python and Java.

• 2+ years following TDD (Test Driven Development).

• Proficient in writing scripts, YAMLs, Helm Charts, and Dockerfiles.

• Experience setting up and maintaining multi-environment workflows (TST/UAT/PRD).

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and Release-on-Demand deployment strategies.

Data & Infra Telemetry:

• Experience building or maintaining data pipelines using streaming/message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Familiarity with capturing infra metadata for cost, performance, SLA tracking.

Tooling & Collaboration:

• Comfortable with tools like VSCode/IntelliJ, Git, CLI tools, and security linting tools.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum, pair programming, and collaboration-heavy environments.
