We are looking for a highly capable and structured IT Project Manager to lead the successful planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise IT projects for regional clients. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage client stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to strategic business objectives.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in software delivery, especially in environments involving legacy system assessments, enterprise application transformation, and stakeholder alignment across business and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through closure, with a strong focus on legacy application modernization, assessment, or migration projects.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and technical teams to define requirements, clarify deliverables, and monitor project health.
- Engage with customer PMs, Product Leads, and Technical Leads to drive alignment and secure required access, documentation, and support.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, resources, timelines, and budget.
- Facilitate workshops, status reviews, and governance meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and dependencies early; propose mitigation plans and escalate where necessary.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction by overseeing quality control and documentation standards.
- Support proposal writing, effort estimation, and project onboarding activities when engaging new projects or phases.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years managing enterprise application or software assessment/transformation projects.
- Strong familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery models (Scrum, Kanban, Hybrid).
- Proven ability to manage cross-cultural teams, particularly across offshore/nearshore delivery models.
- Experience working with or managing roles such as BA, SA, Dev, Tester, and aligning outputs across them.
- Ability to handle complex stakeholder environments, including enterprise clients in manufacturing, energy, or engineering sectors.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Excel for reporting and tracking.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience working with clients in Singapore or regional Southeast Asia markets.
- Background in consulting, system integration, or large-scale IT transformations is a plus.
