Lead of Presales (Cybersecurity)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Sales Support: Partner with the Sales team to qualify opportunities, understand customer technical requirements, and develop winning sales strategies.
2. Solution Design & Architecture: Design and architect comprehensive cybersecurity solutions tailored to specific customer needs, encompassing both IT and OT/ICS environments. Address challenges related to network segmentation, threat detection, vulnerability management, and compliance within diverse infrastructures.
3. Product Expertise: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Dacta Global's product portfolio and relevant cybersecurity technologies. Maintain deep knowledge of the competitive landscape.
4. Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops to technical and non-technical audiences, clearly articulating the value proposition of Dacta Global solutions.
5. Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Plan, manage, and execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate solution capabilities and value in customer environments.
6. RFI/RFP Responses: Lead the technical response to Request for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), and tenders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer requirements.
7. Customer & Partner Engagement: Build strong, trusted relationships with key technical stakeholders within customer and partner organizations.
8. OT/ICS Specialization: Act as a go-to resource for OT/ICS security challenges, understanding unique protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, Profinet), architectures (e.g., Purdue Model), and security considerations within industrial environments.
9. IT Networking Expertise: Leverage strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and cloud networking concepts to design robust security solutions.
10. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, particularly in the convergence of IT and OT. Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams.
11. Mentorship: Potentially mentor junior presales team members (depending on team structure).

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a technical presales, solutions architect, or technical consulting role within the cybersecurity industry.
• Cybersecurity Expertise: Broad and deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and solutions (e.g., network security, endpoint security, cloud security, threat intelligence, identity and access management, vulnerability management).
• OT/ICS Experience: Demonstrable experience and understanding of Operational Technology (OT) / Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments, including common architectures, protocols, security challenges, and relevant standards (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443).
• IT Networking Expertise: Strong foundation and practical experience in IT networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, switching, firewalls, VPNs, LAN/WAN).
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Presentation Skills: Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Location: Based in Singapore with the ability to travel within the region as required.

Desired Qualfications:

• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GICSP, CEH, or vendor-specific certifications.
• Experience working with security solutions in specific OT-heavy industries (e.g., manufacturing, energy, utilities, transportation).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
• Fluency in other regional languages is a plus. risks and technical challenges.
