Global Trade Compliance Manager - JAPAC

ZOLL Medical is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Global Trade Compliance Manager to support our JAPAC region. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where your expertise will play a key role in ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations.

As the Global Trade Compliance Manager, you will:

• Develop, implement, and enforce global trade policies and procedures in line with local regulations and best practices.
• Monitor and advise on regulatory changes in the JAPAC region, identifying potential risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete customs and trade initiatives and deliver compliance training.
• Oversee import and export classification, including ECCN determinations and export licensing.
• Conduct Denied Party Screenings and support Country of Origin determinations.
• Manage Free Trade Agreement (FTA) applicability and support supply chain mapping to prevent forced labor.
• Ensure accurate entry records are maintained in compliance with local laws.
• Interface with government entities across APAC as needed.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in customs and trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and HTS classification.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with GTM systems preferred; Oracle Cloud experience is a bonus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to solve complex problems.
