Game Designer (Japan, Taiwan & Hong Kong Markets)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Game Designer will contribute to the area of game design.

This involves writing game specifications, designing game-play and system, and localizing game contents.

Proficiency in reading and writing Japanese and Traditional Chinese is required to effectively support and communicate with users in the Japanese, Taiwanese, and Hong Kong markets in their native languages.

This role requires creative individuals to produce interesting game designs to bring out the interactivity, suspense, anxiety and whatever other emotion they wish the player to have when playing the game.

REQUIREMENTS

We look for the following skills/traits:

• Passion in gaming and good understanding of game design principles.
• Proficiency in both Japanese and Traditional Chinese to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders in their native languages.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good research and data manipulation skills.
• Interest or knowledgeable in topic of history as the game is history related is plus.
