Cloud Engineer / Platform Administrator

Employment Type: 24-month Contract (Renewable)

Client : A leading government agency.

As a Cloud Developer specializing in container platforms, you will manage and support enterprise-grade container ecosystems (Tanzu / OpenShift) across public cloud and on-premise environments.

This role focuses on platform administration, optimization, and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support the container platform ecosystem (Tanzu / OpenShift).

• Perform installation, upgrades, patching, and monitoring of container platforms.

• Provision and manage cluster capacity through automation.

• Provide L3 engineering support and troubleshoot complex issues.

• Develop and maintain system documentation and operational runbooks.

• Collaborate with internal teams for CI/CD and container lifecycle management.

Skills Required

✅ Must-Have Skills:

• Tanzu / RedHat OpenShift

• Kubernetes administration

• RedHat Linux (RHEL) system administration

• VMware ESXi environment management

• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

• Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Elastic Stack/ELK)

• Docker and container technologies

✅ Good-to-Have Skills:

• Public cloud experience (AWS/Azure)

• RedHat certifications (RHCSA/RHCE), CKA/OpenShift admin certifications
