Application Support Engineer (Windows / Output Management) _ Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Application Support Engineer with 1–4 years of experience to join our team on a 12-month contract.

*The role will be based at a leading bank’s premises in Alexandra, Singapore. *

You’ll be responsible for supporting output management systems and application platforms within a dynamic Windows environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide L1/L2 support for output management systems (e.g., report delivery, printing, archival)

• Troubleshoot and resolve output/reporting issues across systems and user groups

• Perform basic scripting and automation using PowerShell or Windows batch

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system requirements and deployments

• Participate in application and operational projects related to output/reporting tools

• Maintain documentation and manage incident tickets using ITSM tools like BMC Remedy

Requirements:

• 1–4 years of experience in application support or system operations

• Good understanding of Windows OS and basic scripting (PowerShell, Windows batch)

• Familiarity with SQL and at least one programming language (VB, .NET, or C#)

• Exposure to enterprise tools like Control-M and Remedy (good to have)

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Willingness to learn output/reporting tools (training will be provided)
