Application Performance Monitoring Engineer – Banking Domain (12-Month Contract)

We are hiring an experienced Application Monitoring Specialist to support mission-critical systems for a leading financial institution. In this role, you will ensure optimal performance, availability, and stability of enterprise applications by implementing and managing modern monitoring solutions.

This is a 12-month renewable contract with NTT Data, offering exposure to enterprise-level banking systems in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage application monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance.

• Utilize tools such as Geneos and Prometheus for real-time monitoring and diagnostics.

• Monitor end-user experience and application metrics in a large-scale enterprise environment.

• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for resolution.

• Provide proactive recommendations to enhance application performance and stability.

• Collaborate with technical teams to embed monitoring in new deployments.

Requirements:

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

✅ Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a similar role within large enterprise environments.

✅ Hands-on expertise in Geneos, Prometheus, or equivalent application monitoring tools.

✅ Strong knowledge of multi-tier application architectures and runtime environments.

✅ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
